Permitting Engineer
Aerotek Energy is currently seeking a Permitting Engineer for our Richmond, Virginia based client. Our client is a global company that specializes in renewable energy.
Qualified Permitting Engineers will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing permit applications for new renewable energy facilities
- Managing of environmental reporting for existing facilities
- Managing Consultants and relationships with permitting agencies
- Monitoring changes in environmental regulations
Job Requirements for the Permitting Engineer:
- Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Must be able to interact with clients and vendors
- Experience with giving presentations
- Biomass experience a plus but not required
