Electrical Project Engineer
Aerotek Energy Services is currently recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer for an engineering firm that designs, builds, operates, and maintains power transmission and distribution facilities and systems throughout the country.
Position - The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for managing the Electrical discipline, engineers and designers, of a large fossil project for the development of electrical project specifications, calculations, design basis documents, system studies and construction drawings. - Work by the Electrical Project Engineer includes managing the budget and schedule as well as technical excellence of the Project. Must be able to plan, organize, and execute engineering and design tasks. - The qualified Electrical Project Engineer must work with an interdisciplinary team, lead and motivate engineers and designers to successfully achieve project milestones. Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, and performance of detailed engineering
Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years experience with 5 years experience in Lead role on a power or heavy industrial engineering/design project. - PE license mandatory. - Familiar with ETAP, SKM or equivalent analytical program. - Must have working knowledge of NEC and be familiar with applicable IEEE and other industry standards. EPC experience a plus.
This position is full-time, salaried-exempt and is located in Charlotte, NC. Based on experience, salary will range from $90,000-$120,000. This position includes full benefits as well.
